Have I had a miscarriage?

Hi, just looking for some advice if anyone has experienced anything similar.
I am 6+3 today and last night I suddenly had bright red bleeding like my period had started. It lasted about an hour but I had no cramping in that time. This morning there was a little brown discharge but I’ve had no bleeding since. I had a private scan on Saturday and they said all looked perfectly normal and we saw a heartbeat. Got a scan booked with an early pregnancy unit now tomorrow but fearing the worst.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

If it was a miscarriage you would expect to see clots and tissue as well as blood.
I bled at 6 weeks and was convinced I was miscarrying (having previously had 2 MMC) but it was just implantation bleeding and baby was completely fine.

I hope your ok OP. These things can happen, I didnt know I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks with my DD as I thought I had a period. The day I found out I started bleeding again. It was a lot of red blood, I went for an emergency scan and she was fine. I ended up bleeding throughout my entire pregnancy occasionally. I had to have extra scans but she was healthy with no issues. I hope it all goes smoothly for you, these things can happen early on xx

Not necessarily. If you only bled for an hour it may have been a haematoma(not sure I spelt that correctly!).

Fingers crossed all is ok Flowers

Really it could go either way, sone women Mc and have a little bleed whereas many, like myself when Mc it's pretty obvious, quite painful and you pass tissue type clots. I hope it was lust a small bleed that can be quite common xx

Thank you for the replies, really hoping it nothing too awful as we waited a long time to fall pregnant in the first place!
With the implantation bleeding is it common to have bright red bleeding like this or is it usually just spotting?

So early on can go either way ime. No cramping with the bleed is a positive sign though.
Ttc is a minefield...
