Hey, I am new here and found out I am pregnant 9 days ago (very much unplanned)!
I am 24 and currently in my last year as a Student Nurse, I was so scared I would have to defer a whole year but spoke to my head of the degree today and turns out I can continue, I will just defer my final 12 week placement a few months and will qualify a few months later than originally planned or if I am not up to it I have been told I can complete my final placement at any point within 1 year.

I just wanted other students to know that there are options for you if you find yourself in this situation as I could not find this information anywhere no matter how much I searched on here and good old Google so I have been worried for the past 10 days (unnecessarily).

Anywho I feel like I can be somewhat excited about this pregnancy now as it’s one less thing to worry about!

I am due on the 21st of June and it would be nice if there are any other mommas/to be out there to talk to as I don’t have any ‘mom friends’ and it’s my first so all this is very new to me!

xxx
