12 Week Scan tomorrow- calm my nerves!

Good evening all. So tomorrow I have my 12 week scan. I’m excited and nervous all in one go! I had a private scan at 8+5 and measured 9 weeks and all was great, baby a good size and the heart beat was 164bpm so I have no reason to worry. I’ve had plenty of morning sickness and just aches where I think my uterus is stretching and a definite bump now too! So I’m just hoping someone has so tips on what to expect etc. I also need to have the rest of my bloods done as my vein stopped giving up n the first lot! 😕 TIA x

Hi @Dolly89 how exciting! I know how you feel I have 20 week scan this week and I'm starting to feel nerves! I was a wreck before my 12 week scan but it was amazing!! We saw the baby wriggling loads and there was such a huge difference from my private scan just 2 weeks before!! Hope you are able to relax and enjoy the moment 🥰

Thank you! I have butterflies in my stomach and just know I won’t be able to sleep tonight and if I do I’ll probably dream loads! Luckily my appointment is a 9.00 so I don’t have to wait all day! 🙌 Good luck for your scan this week! Xx

I have my 12 week scan too! I am terrified. Been having awful dreams, and I had bad news at ds1’s 12w scan so I’m almost talking myself out of going.. I know I’m being stupid though.
