Vaginal pressure in third trimester

I'm 31+5 and this weekend have suddenly starting experiencing a lot of pressure in my vagina. It feels as though baby is pushing down. It is worst when I'm standing up. Is this usual? Is it just because my bump is getting heavier now? I don't want it to be a sign of early labour! Thank you

Hey, I have the same thing (second baby) and mw said it was the blood supply going to the area and weight of baby pressing down. Mine is worse if I go walking. If it continues and you are worried you can get a swab to rule out infection but it’s probably just the pressure. Hope yours improves, I have learnt to live with it (35 weeks now) and hopefully it will disappear after baby is here :)

Obviously check with your midwife but I had this with both of mine and was normal!

Thank you @flowers245 and @wingingthis that's really reassuring

34 weeks here and the same. When I stand up it’s particularly bad and feels like the baby is going to push its own way out! I had it in my first pregnancy too so I wouldn’t worry :)

I got this was with first around 30 weeks or so , maybe a bit later ( hard to remember)!

I started getting this with my second around 19 weeks 😳!

I’m 36 weeks now and not only is there pressure on my vagina but my bladder too and I constantly feel like I have to badly pee even if I don’t ( and I leak too so yay )
