Induction stories at 40 weeks please?

Hey Ladies,

Spam me with induction stories please. Being induced today at 40+3. Heard it can take a while. Babys movements slowed down and heart rate dropped xx

I was induced at exactly 40+3.
They put me on the drip at 9am. At 11:45 i still messaged my family chat telling them it will probably still be a while, because i couldnt feel anything yet. 12:55 i was holding my baby
It all went really quick all of a sudden! Hope its the same for you!
It was my second birth though.

I had a very positive experience second time round. I did loads of walking around the hospital which really helped get things moving. Then, when I was in the labour room we had led tea lights, music and a nice relaxing room spray to make it feel less clinical. I was lovely.

I was induced at 41 weeks due to baby being overdue.

I was in labour for 13 hours - once they broke my waters that's when the pain really kicked in.
