Ladies, there is such a vast cost difference between feeding chairs isn't there?! I have seen this one for £99.97 - is it any good or a cheap imitation of the better ones that isn't worth it?

Views on feeding chairs generally, gratefully received!

I was going to get one, then I found that I had a tub chair and a footstool and actually, when I tried one in a store, I found the motion made me feel uncomfortable and as long as DD had my boob in her mouth she didn't give a monkey's whether I was nestled on silken cushions or sitting on a fork!

To breastfeed to start with you need:

(1) A Baby
(2) At least one boob.

The rest is just optional. Personally I use a tub chair, a footstool (so I can rest my book on my legs) and a pillow to bring DD to the right height. When they are very little it's easier anyway because you can cradle them in your arms. It gets more difficult when they are whopping 24 pound 3 foot monkeys who wriggle.

Thanks Blazingsandals we are moving house (hopefully soon!!) so we?ll be putting most of our furniture into storage hence the desire to buy a chair that can move with us. I know we have nothing suitable at the mo.

Come on ladies ? no one else have a view?!

MrsMac - I just got one that came FREE with my nursery furniture (Tutti Bambini or something, special offer on web - OK I know it's not really free and I have paid for it somewhere along the line...) It does look and feel great though.

Sorry MrsMc not Mac

Wow, Mrsmc! That looks like a real bargain!!
Just asked dp if I can have one and he said yes! Although am off to Baby Show on Friday, so will see if they have any there that I can "road test" first!
I would think that all gliding nursing chairs would feel quite similar so if you've tried one out in a shop somewhere then go for it! I doubt they'll come much cheaper than this!

Strangetown that?s all that matters

Feedmenow ? very of you going to the baby show, I would have loved to go but the Scottish one is in April so no good for me really. Have to say I have road tested a few when we were on our mammoth buggy checking sprees but they might have felt so comfy because I was so glad to get off my feet! Let me know what your thoughts are after the Show! SIL wants to buy something for us so I reckon I?ll ask for one of these.
