32 weeks- reassure me please

I’m 32 weeks tomorrow and I’m looking for some reassurance.

I’ve had extra scans the whole way throughout my pregnancy mainly due to a large cyst, but just as that disappeared baby’s growth needed to be monitored. At 30 weeks his growth had dropped only slightly but below the 50th centile so I’ve been referred for another scan on Tuesday.

On top of that, I still barely look pregnant. I do have a bump but i don’t feel like it’s grown a lot in the last month and considering I have 8 weeks to go until my DD it’s not big at all!

I wish I could say I’ve enjoyed my pregnancy but I haven’t 😕 everyday has been a worry due to the cyst and how his growth and I can’t wait to just have him in my arms now.

Hoping somebody else has had similar experiences but I think I just needed to share with you ladies

I was consultant led as I had a large dermoid cyst so also had extra scans throughout.

Baby measured fine all throughout until I had my scan at 36 weeks and she had dropped down to the 15th centile when she had been measuring above 50 all the way through.

I was always having a section as she was breech and they were removing the cyst after they delivered her but they decided to deliver her early due to her growth and low an behold she was delivered 3weeks early And weighed over 7lb and not the 5lb they had estimated!

Please take the growth scans with a pinch of salt as they are very rarely accurate. Obviously every situation is different but if they aren’t overly concerned then I wouldn’t worry x

EK- thanks for the reassurance. Lots of people have said the same in regards to the growth scans. Midwife has also said that as long as baby is kicking away and there is growth not to worry too much.

Will still be pleased once he’s here and I’m not constantly comparing my size to others though 😩 x
