No period but negative!

We’ve been trying to conceive for 7 months but no luck yet. Period has always been extremely regular but woke up yesterday and no period - I finally thought this is it! 2 negative pregnancy tests later and I’m so confused and upset. I’ve had slight cramps like period was coming a few days ago but not as much as normal and now I don’t know what I’m feeling! Any body else experienced this and it turned out good news? Should I see a doctor? We have been pregnant before a few years ago but miscarried.

You can miss a period/periods because you are stressed.
No, no need to see a doctor.

I didn't test positive with my first until I was a week late, I just ovulated late I think.

Hope you get the news you want (try a more sensitive pregnancy test like FRER if you haven't already).

However, I did also have some bizarre cycles when TTC DC1. I had always had fairly regular 28 days but had a couple of 50-60 day cycles. I put it down to stress and didn't see a doctor.

I miss periods (sometimes several ina row), if I am stressed, very tired or have lost weight.

Thanks for responses. I don’t feel stressed and I wouldn’t normally think anything of it (although I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t regular) but it’s just particularly frustrating to happen now when we’re trying to conceive. Will try a FRER test in a few days and if not keep my fingers crossed for the next missed period. Thanks again

I agree. Please try to relax.

You may be pregnant but do wait longer before you test again. Btw, there is no 'we' have been pregnant, only you can be pregnant.

It is so frustrating. I remember thinking 'of all the times for my body to decide to do this!?'

However, I do think it was either the stress of TTC taking longer than we hoped or it could have been something that started, but didn't stick and didn't raise my hcg enough for a test to pick it up.

I got a positive test 2 weeks after my period was due. I tested 3 times before then and all were negative. I'd give it another week and so another test. Good luck
