Week 22 movements??

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I felt like I'd been feeling the little one move quite a lot although sometimes not sure if it was just gas (I was getting really bloated but now not so much). Now I think I'm still feeling her but just every now and then. Is it normal for movements to be up and down this early on?

Have they said where your placenta is? I had an anterior placenta so didn't feel movement until quite late on and even then it was on and off. Try not to worry. I thought I felt something early on sometimes but when I actually started feeling movement properly I realised what I'd been feeling wasn't it. Maybe they just haven't started properly yet.

There won’t be regular movements until around week 28. At 22 weeks she’s still small enough that you may not feel her when she’s in certain positions. Any worries obviously speak to midwife

I first felt movement week 21. You don't need to start tracking until week 28, you won't feel every movement this early. Enjoy it!

Thanks everyone, guess I'm just stressing, my placenta is at the back. I keep thinking when shes here I'll stop worrying but then I'll be worrying about a whole load of other things 😖

Don’t stress. Baby is still small and has more room to move so you won’t feel it as much at this point.
