Ow! wonky leg!...Does this mean he's engaged?

I was 4/5th engaged a week ago, and i'm 39weeks+1. (I got all excited because i thought 4/5th meant he was 4/5th in, not out )

Last night i got a terrible pain down my groin area, so bad i could hardly walk. Do you think this might mean he's engaged now?

Still achey this morning, but not as bad...i can walk for a start!

Hmm, very hard to tell. Did your notes say 4/5 palp - that means they could feel 4/5 of his head so he would be 1/5 engaged?
I strained the ligament in my groin a couple of weeks ago and got all excited thinking bub had dropped but but no he was just where he had been (2/5 eng; 3/5 palp). Thats not to say yours didn't do a head dive then come out again!
Try not to read too much into it, some babies don't fully engage until labours well established.
This last bit sucks doesn't it!
