Hi all. Im new to this but look at it daily for help. Im a 38yr who is actively trying for a baby. My period is 13 days late. My last period was 4th sept. Ive done 4 pregnancy tests all negative. Im so tired and my boobs hurt. My doc said ive to test weekly till my next period.
This morning i had light spotting but nothing since then.
Has anyone else had false negatives or found out they were pregnant at like 7-8 weeks?

Any advice appreciated as im driving myself insane

By 5-6 weeks the hcg levels are very high, so a pregnancy test would be able to pick up a thick line. It sounds like there's another reason for your late period. Good luck xx

I once went 65 days between periods. No clue what it was. It was probably due to a anticipation of conceiving. I went to the GP and he said to wait and it came the next week.

It's either delayed ovulation or an anovulatory cycle. Both totally normal, even if not usual for you. Even tiny stressors or changes can throw your cycle.

Long term use of hormonal contraceptives mean many women aren't aware of this. Also most people don't massively pay attention to their cycle unless ttc...
