Worried about my boobs

Me and my partner have just started trying for a baby, but I can't stop thinking about how big my boobs are going to get. I already have huge boobs for my size. I'm size 10UK, 128lbs and have 32FFs. They've been a pretty big burden on my life so far (high street shops don't sell my size, many tops don't fit me right, can't wear fitted tees without comments and stares etc), so the thought of them growing in size fills me with dread. I wouldn't mind if they were just a cup or two smaller but I just struggle to handle these.

I've heard that there's a chance they could grow to G or H cups and I just shudder at the thought (my partner would be happy of course). Any one else dealing with this or have any advice?

I am a G cup normally and am 18 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and to be honest I didn't notice too much of a difference. My partner used to say they looked fuller but I asked him and he said they looked like they rounded out almost? I know from my experience I lived in sports bras while pregnant and I didn't have to size up or anything, and I couldn't wear traditional bras as my boobs were too sensitive! To be honest I don't think you will notice too much as it's quite gradual, and as you get a nice big bump I'm sure it will even out even if you are feeling a bit nervous about it. Hope that helps a little bit :)

Unfortunately in my case they got 2 sizes bigger i was a 34G before I fell pregnant and now my DS is 9months and I'm a 36HH. I feel your pain, I cant wait until they go down again

Oh and lots of maternity clothes are lovely and stretchy so you will be covered there for clothes, to be honest I used to laugh at it as I looked like a stick from the back and when I turned around I was all boobs and bump! Oh the joys of pregnancy!

I was a 32E before pregnancy.
I'm currently 5 months pregnant and my boobs are a 36FF/G.
Bit grim.. but I have resorted to using talcum powder underneath and between them as they get quite sweaty. Not so bad now, but summer was horrendous!
I am praying they go back to a 32E after DC arrives.

I’m normally a size 12 and 30GG/32G but currently 32 weeks pregnant and am currently wearing 36HH.

I am finding it a struggle to find non wired bras that fit but still offer support, and have spent about £100 on different bras so far as they’ve grown.

I sympathise but there’s really nothing you can do. They might grow slightly or might get massive - as with everything pregnancy related, you can’t really predict how you will be affected!

There’s honestly nothing you can do. I was a 32E Now wearing G When I go out but the rest of the time I just wear M&S wireless crop tops. It’s not a reason not to have a baby though, you just deal with it as it comes!

I'm only 11 weeks but my boobs haven't really changed at all, I'm still a 28J Blush They've just gone really tender. I know there's still time for that to change but the "suddenly your boobs get massive!" Initial pregnancy sign didn't happen for me at least.

Oneandabean · 17/10/2020 16:14

I was a 34F pre pregnancy. I got measured at 18 weeks and I’d gone to a 36F even though I’ve lost during the pregnancy. It is only temporary though remember

mouldygrapes · 17/10/2020 16:55

Oh god same here. Mine are already 34 FF or G and I am terrified I’ll be into J or K cups.
9 weeks in and they’re roughly the same size so far but I’m sure they will get bigger 🙈

I feel your pain - I’m a 12, size 34F and just worried they’ll get ridiculous. I started a thread on here about bra recommendations and had lots of helpful suggestions if you search for it. Xx

I’m a size 10, was a 32E before I was pregnant. Now a G/H. Feel your pain! I’ve got some primark sports bra type bralette things and it’s driving me mad not having a proper bra as I feel like my boobs are resting on my bump and I can’t breathe! Desperate to buy an actual bra but what’s the point!!

Nothing you can do about it I'm afraid. You're likely to go to several cup sizes. Still, at least with an FF cup you're already used to having to spend more time and money finding the right bra, and used to having to choose clothes carefully to fit the boobs.

You can find good advice and recommendations for pregnancy and nursing bras on the Boob or Bust Facebook group. I'm around an H cup during pregnancy and breastfeeding and I suggest:

  • hot milk nursing cami, F-H cup size
uk.hotmilklingerie.com/collections/sale/camisole
  • kindred bravely sleep bras, "busty" size, from Amazon
  • sugar candy (by cake) and Royce blossom nursing bras... I preferred the sugar candy when my cup size was FF-GG but it didn't fit so well once my cup size went up to H+, and then the Royce blossom was a better fit.

I have assumed you plan/hope to breastfeed and will need nursing bras and vests, but the sugar candy is also available in a non-nursing version.

I'm early on but I wouldn't say mine are bigger just... more solid? Like they fit the same bras but rounder and not squishy. Like, they used to go more squishy if warm and right now they dont at all
