Hey I booked for a growth scan but the place I'm going offers a 4D scan with this package so I was really excited but then found out a lot of stuff that it's dangerous or something. Any mums on here that's had it done and was fine ?

I had a sneak peak to a 4D scan at 16 weeks. Happy 12 week old in cot next to me now :)

They wouldn't offer it if it wasn't safe. X

I think they discourage you from getting 4d scans like every week. That's not because they're not safe, it's just because they can't be 100% it's safe to have them that frequently because its a fairly new thing. But I've not heard anyone say that just one or two 4d scans could be dangerous. My babies will be getting scanned every 2 weeks because it's a high risk pregnancy, if that makes you feel any better...
