Is this definitely a boy?

Had a well-being scan earlier this week where it was just too tempting to find out when she asked if we wanted to

We were absolutely over the moon to hear it’s a boy. In my elation, I forgot to ask how certain she was.

I’ve never seen it taken from this angle before. It’s as if they are looking downwards between the legs, rather than upwards like a ‘potty shot’. Im afraid it’s the cord or something!

What do you think?

Girls tend to have 3 lines in the genital area which are obviously the vulva.

Whereas boys don’t. Also with boys, you can usually see the penis and testicles very clearly

@CMAYF11 to be honest the lady scanning didn’t say much. Just said yes that’s something there. And these were the pics we had ‘confirming’ it.

Normally the photos you see are of the ‘potty shots’ ie sort of looking upwards towards the bottom area - so being able to see what’s between the legs.

Both images are very poor, baby could be a boy; 50% chance. This is why private scamming services shouldn’t exist.

@PowPurry the first photo is your typical potty shot so not sure what you mean about it not being a potty shot? There is defo something between his legs though! Boy 💙

@Pink15 - this was taken looking ‘down’ IYSWIM. Potty shots are normally looking upwards between the legs.
Deep down I know it’s a boy I just do have images in my mind of them telling me it’s a girl at the 20 week. All this and we weren’t even planning on finding out!

I'd say definitely a boy. This is my girl one and you can see 3 lines like PP has mentioned xx
