Call and ask the GP

I would check with your midwife. In my experience they have always been happy to answer questions like this, they realise it's a unnerving time for new mums.
I don't think it matters when you have it but I'm no medical professional!

You can have it while ttc and at any stage of pregnancy

i had mine the other week at about 8 weeks, booked it in, and then had my booking appt with MW the morn of flu jab so just double checked with her and she said fine to have in early pregnancy.

You should get it ASAP, I believe there is a shortage of flu jabs this year!

Before the start if the flu season us best so I'd get it now. It's to protect you so how pregnant you are doesn't matter (unlike the whooping cough vaccine which is timed to pass the immunity on to the baby).

Mine was booked in for just after my booking appointment (9weeks), I think if you plan to go to a pharmacy to get it then you need your exemption letter which I got around 12 weeks. Phone your GP and see what they say as you'll need to book in your booking app with midwife anyways. Congrats x
