Spotting at 12 weeks

I’ve been on off spotting for the past week and have my 12 week scan tomorrow. I’m so scared and nervous. Has anyone else experienced this and everything been ok?

Yes I have. Spotted at just before 12 weeks then had quite a sudden gush of blood. Went in for a scan and all was fine. They weren't sure what caused it. I spotted for about a week after that then it all settled. I'm now 26 weeks and all ok.

I’ve had it since last Friday, seemed a bit worse today. No pain or clots though and only there when I wipe. I had a massive gush of blood in my first pregnancy but that was at about 6 weeks. I just want everything to be ok. I’m glad everything was ok for you x

No pain or clots is a good sign. I really hope you get good news tomorrow x

That’s what I keep telling myself and I need to keep off google! Thank you I really hope so too, I’ll not sleep tonight x

How did your scan go @Chelle2406? I’m 12 weeks today and been spotting since yesterday. Not a lot, more brown in colour than red, but it’s nerve wracking! I have my dating scan Tuesday but I’m not sure I can wait that long!!

Hope your scan went well and the spotting calms down a bit for you, must be so scary 💖

I've had it both ways spotting got heavier and heavier and it wasn't ok, a year later it stopped after a few days all was fine.

I bled all over the floor of a shop and then bled for several hours at 12 weeks. I was petrified. Baby was fine and is now 6. Don’t panic guys. Good luck. X

Thank you for the kind words everyone sadly it wasn’t meant to be and we will try again when We are ready. I have the most amazing partner who hasn’t left my side all day he’s been great. I think I prepared myself for the worst because of what had been happening over the past week xx
