First midwife app, help please

Hey everyone,
I'm 8 weeks plus 3 days. I had a early scan at 6W+2 and everything was fine, heartbeat was seen.
I have a midwife appointment next week and my 12 weeks scan in Nov.

When I go to the midwife appointment next week will they check the heart beat or not?
Ill be over 9 weeks then.

They won't - it's too early to find the heartbeat reliably so they won't even try rather than potentially upset you!!

No they won't be able to attempt checking the hb until after 16w and some wont do it then as it is still hard to find.

Midwife won’t check heart beat until at least 16 weeks but some like mine won’t do it until 24 week appointment.
It’ll just be weight, bloods, urine check, blood pressure and booking in questions if you haven’t been through them already
