I’m currently 16 weeks 4 days the other morning around half 6 got woken up by a stitch kind of pain when I turned over into a different position it eased off , when I walked to the toilet the pain was back as like a stitch and as soon as I went to the loo (a wee) it went have any of u ladies experienced something similar is it normal , have another 4 whole weeks till my 20 week scan I’m a massive worrier so I worry a lot. Any replies would be appreciated Xx

Google ‘round ligament pain’, could be that? I had it bad in both pregnancies when I sneezed, felt like the worst stitch pain ever!

I get that too when I cough or get up to quickly it’s the worst but this pain just felt different I’ll look it up now Thankyou

Hiya hope ur well its just your baby stretching your tummy musucles outward. If this pain is sharp n below ribs ring ur midwife and just ask her advice. Im still feeling it at 22wks so dont worry even tho its hard not to but ur baby will feel u worrying so take it easy Smile x

I used to feel a lot of stitch/needle kind pains when I was around that time. I would get them when I would sit, change position, climb a lot of stairs, wee etc. They eased off by week 20.
