Just that really.
16 weeks on Saturday and just trying to see when i can hope to feel first flutters or movements with an anterior placenta?
And what did yours feel like?

I had an anterior placenta with my first, I didn’t feel anything really noticeable until 24 weeks. Before then i felt the odd little thing and questioned if it was the baby or wind but it was 24 weeks before I could be confident it was definitely the baby!

I felt a distinctive flutter at 21 weeks.

Hi all. Sorry for jumping on. @SunnySideUp2020 how do you know you have an anterior placenta? I am 18+6 and felt nothing yet. No mention placenta talk about my 16 week appt (or 12 week scan, unless that's too early?) just wondering how you know!

I've felt nothing at all, I've also got no bump at all (my first) and wondering if it's maybe the position the baby is in. Was hoping to feel flutters by now, but nothing :(

I definitely didn’t feel much of anything until late 2nd trimester. Maybe some fluttering that could be mistaken for gas 😆

This time around I have a normal placement so feel way more kicks. Had no idea the placenta took a real beating last time

SunnySideUp2020 · 15/10/2020 11:59

@kittenpeak i was told at my 12w scan about the position of my placenta.
It's on my report too.
As for the bump, i think it really depends on people.
I have a small one. The kind of bump you wonder if it is a big burger or a baby 😄

2 anterior placenta. Dc1 around 22/23 weeks and dh could never feel him move/kick. Dc2 14 weeks and dh could feel her move by around 16 weeks. She's 2 now and still incapable of remaining still unless asleep.

Hey, I’m a first time mum - currently 25 weeks with an anterior placenta. Around 22-23 weeks I started feeling bubbles popping at the bottom of my belly, I was really unsure at first but they have started getting stronger and much more obvious since then.

Mine was at 20 weeks. At first it was like bubbles or gas, like I'd eaten something not right or when you get a big stomach rumble haha. It was always in the afternoon though and it got stronger after a couple of days.

So to update the thread, i now finally feel the kicks. It properly started at 21 weeks on Sunday.
Now i feel her everyday :) not when i am on the move but laying down always.
But thinking about it i felt the first kick at 19w6 but it was just one then nothing until a couple of days later.
