Not having partner at scan...?

Can we just talk about how crappy this is? I didn't have him for the first one (I was alright as I was so happy to see a baby after a miscarriage). Second scan at 20 weeks...The joy of seeing my baby with my partner was taken away. I kinda felt lonely....I'm actually scared about being in labour alone....

I've had my 12, 20 and 28 week scans on my own and my hospital have now announced partners can go to 20 week scan (well watch the scan from a different room) it's sad but its my second pregnancy at least, feel more sorry for those on their first. I think the rules for labour at mine are that partner can stay once woman is 4cm, but it may change before my Jan due date
