Hcg levels

So I paid for a private blood test for my hcg levels, I got a 2-3 on the clearblue, so I think I'm now roughly just turned 5 weeks (not sure when I ovulated) my blood results were 1077, is this good?

It's less the figure itself that matters but more the fact that you went the HCG level to double every 48-72 hours.

A single result is pretty meaningless, sorry. Levels can vary hugely between different women at the same stage of pregnancy.

As PP says, it’s the rate of increase that matters, not the actual number.

As others have said one test really can't tell you much unless you had it done around 14 days post ovulation - medical research suggests on that day for the best chance of having a viable and successful pregnancy then hcg needs to be over 100

It also depends how pregnant you believe you are based on your last period. If you are 5 weeks or more then I'd say the level was very low for where it should be

Also hospitals would look for a hcg over 1500 to be able to see a gestational sac on an ultrasound

Thanks everyone, I had them done at 4 weeks 5 days! My morning sickness has started this morning.
