I've been high risk since booking in, I'm at 28 weeks now and was expecting a scan, consultant appointment and midwife appointment this week (as requested by my consultant at my 20 week appointment). I just called the hospital and they said 'because of covid' they have cancelled all 28 week scans. Has anyone else heard this? I feel so stressed as not only do I have Ashermans Syndrome, I also have a sizeable hematoma and at my last scan had full previa... I've been really relaxed as I've been in hospital loads with bleeding, but for the past few weeks I haven't had any check ups etc and now I just feel a bit anxious. I feel like covid is just an excuse - why is it negatively affecting midwifery care?! Am I missing something? I feel a bit scared, I know its probably down to hormones... but I really feel that I need to chat to a midwife. Can I insist on this? :(
