Terrible acid reflux making me nauseous

Anyone get this?

I know it's common in pregnancy but I am 23 weeks now and I am still feeling very nauseous a lot of the time but instead of morning sickness like in my first trimester, it's because of absolutely terrible acid reflux. Sometimes I can just throw up acid which burns and is horrid.

I've had that (too much booze and weakened stomach) and got proton pump inhibitors from my doctor. Great for shortish term! Also someone recommended a collagen powder on her to rebuild their stomach lining. I take it now (mixed in coffee) and have not had another but occasional minor problems - edible health premium marine collagen powder.

Sorry about this! Have not had anything other than occasional minor problems! Believe it or not I think this could be hormones!

I'm also 23 weeks and had terrible acid reflux which made me vomit most days. I have now been prescribed omeprazole from my GP which has helped loads x

Hi. I have this at 26 weeks (posted earlier this week!) My GP has prescribed omeprazole but I haven't been able to get out to get it yet. It's horrible how sick it can make you feel. I have to sleep sitting up now.

I had this in the second trimester pretty bad, all foods caused it. Omeprazole from the gp sorted it out and once I hit third trimester it really calmed down.

Yes. Awful. Awful. Awful. Started up after a bit of s break from nausea at about 22 weeks and then it was relentless. Couldn't sleep for the choking feeling in my throat. Finally gave in at about 30 weeks and asked the dr for Omeprazole. Life changing!
