hi all :)

i'm due my 33 week scan in 2 days and for the last day or 2 i have noticed my baby's movements have not been as strong/consistent as normal.
i called my midwife and she said to have a snack, sit comfortably and feel my tummy for 30 mins to an hour.
i did feel movements during that time, but not as often or as strong as normal... i think me thinking about it and not relaxing may not be helping either but i don't know what to do :(

should i wait 2 days until my scan? or should i call and try and be seen asap???
please help :(

Good morning! I would defo give your midwife call and get checked. It is part of their job and you will feel loads better being checked x

Always call, it’s better to check and find everything ok than to ignore and there be something wrong

Pipperleen · 13/10/2020 08:27

Yes, I would call.
But to reassure you, I had this in my pregnancy - I just felt her movements weren’t as strong all of a sudden. Almost like she was swishing about rather than punching me if that makes sense. I think she was just running out of room - everything was fine and she is now 11 days old x

Definitely give you midwife a call again, im 23+4 and yesterday couldnt feel any movement, called the midwife they got me to come in and had a listen to the heartbeat and said he had just moved positions. She advised anytime your not happy give them a ring as they would rather check you over than not.
