Hi I found out I'm pregnant today. I'm a little shocked as I was told I was infertile. I'm a little worried too that somethings going to go wrong. Any guidance or a more experienced mummy to take me under the wing would be much help. I'm an anxious person by nature

Congratulations that's lovely news for you!! I'm first time mum to be as well and the anxiety is so hard!! Only advice I can give is look after yourself, take your vitamins, eat well etc and you can't control more than that. I think it's so natural to worry something will go wrong but sadly worrying can't prevent it so, as hard as it is, you need to really consciously try to enjoy your pregnancy! Sending you lots of positivity and I hope you have a lovely healthy pregnancy 💓

Hi @Sitchervice, congratulations on your pregnancy 💓 im a first time mum too but im now nearly 37 weeks so thought I could tell you my experiences of those early weeks.
I was also quite anxious, which came as quite a shock, I think maybe because even though baby was planned it happened a lot quicker than I expected so I hadn't really thought about when I would actually be pregnant.
Anyway those really early weeks I was so scared of going to the loo and seeing blood, but just take every day 1 at a time. Thats the best advice, just every day I would say "I am still pregnant today" it helped massively. Before you know it a week has gone by and then two, and the chances of something bad happening decreases.
I also had a private scan at 7 weeks because I couldn't wait the full 12, I know things can still happen after but its a lot less likely once you have seen a heartbeat.
Then I was so ill between weeks 6 and 14, which although you feel awful, its a reassuring sign that things are going well with baby.

@biscuit13 thanks. Mines planned as well. But took a long time. I will try and take things one day at a time.
