Hi all,

So i'm currently 18+3 and just absolutely exhausted. I had quite a difficult first trimester with sickness/tiredness but luckily my sickness did ease at around 13/14 weeks and I now only get nauseous first thing In the morning. I had a few weeks of feeling myself again and energy levels almost felt... normal? The last week or so though I am really struggling. Some days I literally ache all over. I know i'm growing a baby but, is this normal?!
Have also tried doing light exercise but that doesn't seem to help much either and am mindful about diet. Anyone else been the same or have any advice?

Are you taking an iron supplement? Spatone was recommended to me by my midwife when I was fatigued in the second trimester.

It definitely helped me feel a bit more energetic.

Have you had a blood test recently? Do you know your iron levels?

Iron deficiency anaemia will make you feel utterly exhausted. If my level dips below about 118, I really know about it!

You can call the midwife to request a blood test if needed.

Also make sure you are drinking PLENTY of water :)

Have you done your glucose challenge test?
