So I have done god knows how many tests 🤦‍♀️ I am 4 days late and since the day of my first period I’ve been getting faint positive tests, but I feel like they’re not getting darker.. is this bad?? Also am I testing too much? I would add a picture but I don’t know how!

They should be getting darker however when are you testing and how often?

Your best bet is to test every other day from the first line to give your HCG levels time to rise so your tests can get darker and stronger. If you're testing multiple times a day you're just wasting tests because your HCG only doubles every 48 or so hours.

At the very least test once a day and only with FMU

Also what tests are you using as cheapies take longer to get strong lines on!

You can only upload pictures after 48 hours if you're a new member if not use the paper clip button to attach a pic.

@Bl0ndi3 I’m using first response, I wish I could upload a picture.. the first one is so faint so they definitely have got darker but I’ve just done a clear blue and it’s showing hardly anything, I’m so confused, are pink tests more sensitive??

@Bl0ndi3 I’ve been testing everyday, maybe I should calm down with that....

FRER is a lot more sensitive than anything else so a line will always be stronger on those! Give it a day or two if you can (I know it's hard) and test again and you should see it getting stronger. Your best off sticking to one brand of test now to see proper line progression.

Once you get a nice strong line I'd stop as a line is a line and therefore you're pregnant but I know line progression is a comfort - it is to me!

Good luck and tentative congratulations as it seems you're pregnant @Jenn445588

@Jenn445588 I tested every day until I was about 5+2 believe me I get it but just test once a day with IC - and then I had 4 FRER which I took every other day at 10 12 14 16 dpo and then 2 clear blue weeks to get 2-3 and 3+ haha it gave me reassurance I needed so I don't mind (some people say line progression is pointless I say they're wrong)

Jenn445588 · 10/10/2020 09:05

@Bl0ndi3 I mean my lines aren’t faint they're 100% their, just not as strong as the other line.. so I must be pregnant? Cause a lines a line

Yeah definitely they can take a while to get stronger than control line so don't worry about that xxx

Just do a digital one that says pregnant/not pregnant
