Leaking Breasts Already?!

Hi Ladies,

FTM so I was a bit surprised when I started have some milk leaking in my bra already! I’m only 26w 4d, is it normal for this to happen so early?

I’m already convinced this baby is going to come early and I’m thinking is this another sign!?

Appreciate the experience you have had/how soon did you start leaking milk before the birth? Xx

And its colostrum that you are leaking

I had leaky boobs from around the same time as you! It's quite common, some of my friends had the same. Perfectly normal in my experience and my baby came just after 40 weeks.

Is it your first? I had leaking in second trimester, pretty early on, with my first. Didn't happen with my second child. Probably just your body gearing up Mine arrived on her due date exactly

I'm 23 weeks currently and have been leaking colostrum since week 19 roughly, it's just your body getting ready and is perfectly normal❤️

I started leaking at about 16 weeks which really surprised me as a ftm! My baby was born at 28+3 though but I honestly don't think looking back the leaking was a sign. However my milk came in really fast after birth and have a really good supply so hopefully a good sign if you're planning on breastfeeding 😊
