HELP!! Weird twitching/pulsing sensation

Hi! I'm at FTM here and 30 weeks pregnant. For the past hour or so I've been feeling a weird rumbling, rhythmic twitching feeling in my lower right abdomen. I'm pretty sure it's where my placenta is as I have a low placenta. Does anyone know what it could be? The baby is kicking so I presume he's ok in there but I'm feeling really freaked out by this weird bubbling/twitching and why it won't go away. Scared it's something to do with blood flow to the placenta?! Any help appreciated! Thanks

Baby hiccups?

gg321 · 09/10/2020 19:44

I reckon your baba has hiccups! A pulsing sensation a few seconds apart, rhythmic twitching, that’s baby hiccups!

Yeah, baby hiccups. I don't like them either, but they are a good sign that baby is doing well in there.

Hiccups nothing to worry about, considered a good sign

Thank you everyone! You've put my mind at ease 😊 I love Mumsnet for this! It's such a weird sensation - it seems to have subsided a bit now but I was panicking that the blood wasn't getting through to the baby or he was distressed. Thanks for the replies!
