Second time mum's - how long between bloody show and labour?

I'm 40+6 with my second. Had a sweep yesterday, had light bleeding immediately then a bloody show today. No contractions yet but wondering how common it is for labour to start within the next day for second time mums. My first was born over a week early, the day after my show, so this wait is all a bit new to me!
So how long was it for you?

My first was overdue, induced and born at 42 weeks and I never went into labour naturally.
Second one induced and born at 37 weeks and again no natural labour
Sorry I cant help you but hoping I give your thread a 'bump.'

My second time, labour started within an hour of my bloody show! I was however 42+1 so more than overdue.

Baby 3 here, been having mild contractions all day and had my bloody show a few hours ago.....really hope it’s soon!! With baby 2 I gave birth within about 8 hours of the show. Good luck OP!

Totorotummy our baby arrived around midnight on Saturday night, really sorry to hear nothing’s happened yet for you, hopefully it will be soon now, are you having any contractions?

Totorotummy. How are you getting on? Hope things start moving soon or preferably that you’re already holding your newborn!! x

@RoseGoldEagle ahh thanks for checking in Smile I've been booked in for an induction tomorrow so now I'm just resigned to that. No signs of arrival at all, not even a Braxton Hick! But it's nice to know the uneventful wait will be over tomorrow. Hope you're having a lovely first few days with the little one?

Totorotummy really hope everything went well and didn’t take too long, and that you’re having newborn cuddles as you read this?! All good here thanks, can’t believe she’s been here a week already!

@RoseGoldEagle Glad to hear everything is going well! I ended up having an induction and he was born on Friday morning :) still at the hospital with jaundice but otherwise all well and very much enjoying the newborn snuggles!
