Food poisoning

Currently 22 weeks pregnant , & I believe I have food poisoning ( comparing it to having it in the past )

I woke up at around 4am this morning with excruciating pains in my stomach , went to the toilet .... & the rest is too graphic 🤮

I've rang in sick at work so I can rest & rehydrate myself , should I ring the midwife ?
My sister says yes I should

Absolutely. You can’t know for sure it is food poisoning. It could be a sign of labour. Call the midwife

@kirstenn123 have you called?
I had a miscarriage at 22 weeks and vomited and had diarrheah in the hours prior.

I hope you are alright and that you did indeed have bad food

Could be norovirus or food poisoning if you have eaten takeaway , chicken ,rice or seafood .
Ring your midwife for reassurance. But try not to worry and keep your fluids topped up Flowers

How are you feeling now OP?

Thanks for the advice ladies

I spoke to my local maternity unit who advised me to speak to my doctor 🤷🏼‍♀️

Spoke to him & as I could feel baby moving , he was I was fine to rest , hydrate & take another day off work. He chalked it up to been a possible bug rather than food poisoning
