Acupuncture to start labour?

Has anyone else successfully induced labour with acupuncture?

38 weeks and had first session today as my biggest fear is going over due date and having to be induced (also just done with pregnancy and excited to meet baby :) ). Been having some fairly strong cramps since the session today but booked in again for Sunday as was told it can take a few sessions.

Has it actually work for anyone else?

I know this is super late, but did you have any luck after ?

Sorry so late… but wondering if it did in fact induce labour? X

Also interested in this... I have a weekly session of acupuncture booked starting this week (38wks), the main purpose (hope!) being that it gets labour going naturally. I've also been told it can help get baby in the best position for labour, although I've no idea how!

Nothing will start labour. Believe me, I tried. Induction barely started me.
Be patient, your baby will come when your body is ready. Not the news you want to hear, but having tried EVERYTHING myself, I think it’s only fair I try and put you out of your misery of trying.
Start a new tv show to keep your mind occupied. Jane the Virgin is a hoot. Money Heist is just excellent. Virgin River is very pleasant.

This also includes multiple sweeps.
