Acupuncture during pregnancy?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience getting acupuncture whilst pregnant. I have my first session with my physio tomorrow for my PGP. I'm just wondering where will the needles go! I'm feeling a little nervous but I heard it's really good just wanted to hear people's personal experiences. Thanks!

I had some acupuncture in pregnancy. I had undiagnosed abdo pain. I was on painkillers that could cause harm in late pregnancy and I really wanted to stop but the pain was awful. It really helped. They were very careful and wouldn’t put any needles around my bump but other than that it was fine. It reduced my pain sufficiently that I came off the strong painkillers in my third trimester and was only on paracetamol (DD was fine)
