@Mustbemad82 id leave it, personally! Something that makes you anxious isn't good for you and you may need a break from it. Sometimes when MN makes me anxious I go off grid for a while too! Doesn't mean I don't love you all 😂😘

Weird and random question from me, about BOOBIES. I know boobs change during pregnancy. But is this normal? I emailed my midwife yesterday but have had no response. My mum died of breast cancer quite young so I get super paranoid about my melons.

I have developed a dark red/purple patch on one boob. It's been there 10-12 days now. It feels slightly warmer and harder than the other side but doesn't hurt (aside from normal breast ache). I'll attach a photo and home MN doesn't think it's too NSFW! I've covered up the nip 😂 Do I need to make a GP appt? Has anyone else had this? It doesn't seem to matter whether I've worn an underwired/non-wired/sports bra or no bra at all.

@Madz123 I was the same and I'm married, 30 (for a few more days) with two kids already and I felt like I was in trouble for being pregnant 😂 that I PLANNED.

@MrsEmilyB I have no breast expertise but (firstly what a cracking pair you've got) and if you're ever worried at all, especially with your family history then please do book a GP appt. Apparently dimpling on the skin can indicate something sinister but that looks more bruised?! Can never be too safe with boobies. Quite jealous now!

@Mustbemad82 You can mute the notifications and stop the posts appearing in your newsfeed so you are still a member of the group but see nothing from them unless you seek it out yourself if you don't want to leave completely. Not sure how it appears on your phone but (see pic) click the 3 dots on top right when on the group and you'll see the 'following' (newsfeed) and notification settings!

@MrsEmilyB It's probably nothing to worry about and part of pregnancy changes but I would book a GP appt just to be sure for your own peace of mind ☺️

@mrsmummy1111 @LittleRa yeah that completely makes sense I'm planning on BF if possible but was planning on not doing it exclusively as I heard formula can help bubs sleep but definitely going to do more research as it's all new to me but love reading all the info. I've read loads about breastmilk being great for fighting sickness so it's interesting that babies in neonatal and stuff are often supplemented with formula. Bloody minefield as a FTM but love how open and non-judgemental this group is x

@Ltay2 so nice to share the experience with your friend, one of my besties is 9months ahead of me (I found out I was pregnant the day after she gave birth 😂) and still can't wait to have that final 3months or her mat leave together x

@MrsEmilyB sorry I also have no idea on the boob front but agree definitely wait for midwife to come back or just give the GP a call, always better to put your mind at ease and don't be nervous for your scan it's another chance to see your little one who will have grown since last time and it will be amazing xx

But in all seriousness, I've had mastitis when bfeeding and it looks very similar. Is it hot to the touch? Deffo contact GP but don't think it's anything mega scary. Keep us updated.

@zippityzip You were at QM weren't you! Coffee shop paninis are a REAL guilty pleasure of mine. When I'm at the airport at 5am I tell myself it's breakfast and get one of the creamy mushrooms ones from cafe Nero and they're fucking WONDERFUL. I'm not even sorry.

My sis and brother in law have a bet going whether we'll cave and find out and I refuse to be the reason my sister loses £100. I've got my combined screening results through today, 1 in 62,000 for downs and 1 in 67,000 for Edwards and Pataus so I'm relieved with that ☺️
