Cheeky wipes questions

Hi all, I brought some Cheeky Wipes and received them today, I'm excited but I have a couple of Qs and their FAQs on the website aren't working.

  1. Do I not use the essential oils at the start? I.e. with a newborn? I assume I can still use the one for the mucky box because its just going to go in the wash? So is it just water to begin with?
  2. How long can I leave the clean wipes in the box in the water, as in, how often should I be looking to fill the box? Do I just do this at the start of the day? Or just until I've used them all?

Any other advice for using these gratefully received Grin

I've just got myself set up with the cheeky wipes kit. Younger baby hadn't arrived yet so just using a few for preschooler at bedtime etc. I was surprised how much the fresh ones smelt after a few days in the box even with the oil. I'd definitely refresh every couple of days.
Might be a gross question but does anyone use the same wipes for bums and hands/faces? Obviously they are all washed in between, but is it a bit gross?

Hi OP here and now have a 6 month old. I have been using them slightly differently in that I dont keep the wipes stored wet, I keep a box of water next to dry wipes and wet them when I use them. However, this will probably change now that lockdown is lifting and also my boy is starting to crawl so haven't really been using a changing station as much!

My only input about keeping them soft is that they feel much nicer after being tumble dried, so much so that I brought a tiny tumble drier that has a tube you put out the window on gumtree for £30 and use that for the wipes and his towels etc
