Induction worse?

With my first I had an induction as my hind waters went but no contractions. I started with pessary and then moved onto having a drip after my waters broke (all over the midwife 🙈) as I was on the drip and heart monitor I was stuck on my back on the bed and the pain was pretty unpleasant to say the least. Now pregnant again and a bit anxious about all that again, just wondering did people who have experienced both induction and natural find that induction was worse? And also did induction take longer? Mine was only 6.5 hours from established labour and midwife said at the time to be prepared if I have another as second is usually quicker. I’ve heard some people say that induction takes longer so wondering if I should be prepared for a quick birth?
