Hey ladies, Braxton Hicks... I have been getting them since around 22 weeks and am almost 36 weeks now. I get them morning, night and consistently throughout the day. Sometimes they are pretty painful and sometimes I only know they are happening because my belly is hard. For those of you who have got them pretty regularly throughout your pregnancy, how did you tell you were in early labour? I hear a lot of women saying they got period type pains at the start of labour but I literally get this all day everyday 😂 how will I know?! (Apart from waters breaking etc)

I had so many period pains and braxton hicks tightenings in the last month of my last pregnancy that it was only about an hour or two into my actual labour that I twigged It was the real thing!

After that, the contractions really ramped up and I struggled to talk through them soon after - from my experience I’d say you‘lo definitely know the difference.

I learned yesterday from the positive birth company videos that 80 something percent of babies come after 40 weeks.. so try to be patient Grin!! X
