Baby is a whopper ๐Ÿ˜“ >95th centile!

Can anyone thatโ€™s been in this situation share their experience? 36 week growth scan (have 32/36/40 week scans due to my BMI) and was called back in after for them to discuss my chart. Says baby had had a pretty big growth spurt (was measuring 72nd centile at 32 weeks and now above the 95th centile at 36 week). All they said was that as long as I was content that baby was moving around enough then it should be fine ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ณ they want me in again at 38 weeks for another scan but couldnโ€™t tell me what they would do if baby was still measuring as big at that scan ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
I did have a GTT at 25 weeks and all came back fine although it was just the single blood draw rather than the full test! Had midwife last week and urine dip test wasnโ€™t showing any sugars.

Anyone else been in a similar situation? Are they likely to offer early sweeps/induction etc?

10lb 5oz, first baby. No GD. Vaginal birth, no issues. Big babies are fine.

Thanks guys...this has honestly made me feel so much calmer ๐Ÿ˜… I think it was just the way they called me back into the scan room to discuss with a super concerned look on her face and going on about doing a 38 week scan so that things could be โ€œdealt with soonerโ€ then just sent me on my way ๐Ÿ™ˆ she couldnโ€™t actually tell me what would be done ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Baby looked completely healthy in the scan so I should really just be concentrating on that ๐Ÿ˜Š

My 3rd was 10lb 6oz. Pretty much what he was predicted to be on scans. Was induced at 40+5 due to polyhydramnios as well. Ive always had huge bumps and measured weeks ahead. My first was 7lb 10, my second was 9lb 1oz. Not one doctor or midwife ive seen so far this pregnancy seems remotely concerned about how big this baby might be and ive only been sent for growth scans because ive pushed for it. My 2nd was my easiest birth, but all 3 have been VD on just gas and air. Ive torn in all 3, had stitches with 1st and 3rd. Not as bad as it can be made out to be ๐Ÿ˜

I'm another one who has rarely heard of the estimates being accurate.

No-one measured my 2nd baby as big. He was big (10lb 3) and he came out pretty quickly. I had a vaginal birth for both my boys and compared to my first (who came out even quicker, and was 8lb 2 at 40 weeks, but was undiagnosed breech and got stuck) it was a walk in the park
