Swollen fingers

I thought I was doing well in terms of not getting any swelling but all of a sudden my fingers have ballooned and I can't get my engagement and wedding ring off!! 🙈

Any ideas how to get them off? I really don't want them cut off.

I found on a hot day my rings were getting really tight so I just made my hands really cold and kind of covered my knuckle in lots of saliva (I'm sure moisturiser or something similar would work too but I didn't have any to hand - pardon the pun) as it was my knuckle that they wouldn't then go over..
I have also seen a trick with some string, I've never done it only seen videos m.youtube.com/watch?v=kGGwX2lY4rc

Good luck x

I got mine off with butter when my hands ballooned. It hurt and took a few tries throughout the day. If you can do it at a time your hands are colder and a bit skinnier and not in the morning as they swell even more when you wake up that might help. Good luck!

Thanks, so far I've tried cooling my hands with ice, raising above my head, cream, soap, baby oil and the string method...with no luck! 😩 Does anyone know if pregnancy swelling goes up and down? Wondering if it might improve in a couple of days? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you had a lot to drink? My hands swell up a bit when dehydrated, and drop down again once I've drank a lot of water.

I'm trying to drink loads of water today to see if that helps....
