Overdue IVF pregnancy

Hi all, has anyone gone much overdue with an IVF pregnancy? I'm 40+2 no signs of labour so far. I had a consultant's appointment at 20w who suggested inducing at 39w as we know the due date accurately. After extensive research I decided to opt for a natural birth with no induction and instead will be monitored. So no sweeps, no pessaries. So far baby is good size, good position, placenta is all great too so there is no medical reason to induce him out yet. I wonder if anyone with an IVF pregnancy also went overdue? What was your experience?

I was induced at 40 + 10, long 42hr labour ended in a c section but I was told this wasn’t due to ivf. My second non ivf baby was also late.

@Monsterjam thank you for leaving a comment! Interesting how with the "known due date" they still come out when they are ready. I'm 40+4, midwife said she's happy for me to wait till 42w. If I decide to go beyond that they'll offer mounting every 2 days. Induction is always on the table but they know I don't want it so not offering at the moment. Really hope he'll come out next week and we can have our home birth.
