NHS dating scan

Hi, I was just wondering how much notice you get for your first NHS scan? I don’t have my booking appointment until I’m nearly 10 weeks (which is in 2 weeks time) so when will I get told when my scan is? Obviously will need to give work notice etc. Thanks

I had my booking appointment just before 10 weeks, then received my scan appointment in the post about a week later - it's for 13 weeks! I was impatient too 😅 Not planning to tell work yet so hoping to claim it's a doctor's appointment!

I had my booking appointment at 8 weeks, letter for scan came through 2
Weeks later. The scan is at the end of the month. I’m in the south east and I’m really happy with my care so far, my scan will be bang on 12 weeks.
