Question about bleeding at 10 weeks

My friend has had bleeding and spotting throughout her pregnancy - currently about 10 weeks. She's off for a scan tomorrow.

My question is: Is the fact that she has strong pregnancy symptoms a good sign? She is throwing up, feeling nausious, has tender boobs etc. I hope this bodes well. Does anyone know?

broccoli, some people think that strong symptoms are a good sign, but I am not really one of them. Can only speak from my own experience, but I continued to have my symptoms of extreme nausea and tiredness even though I was having a missed mc
But we'll be optimistic and hope that for your friend the symptoms are good!!
Hope the scan goes well.
xx

Thank you for your answer feedme, and sorry that you had the first hand experience to give the answer.

I shall keep everything crossed for my friend.

BS i had bleeding/spotting for a few weeks around this stage. went for an early scan and the pregnancy was 'viable' as they put it. rest of pregnancy was a breeze and ds is now 20 months. hope it works out as well for her

I had the same experience as Tamdin - and everything was fine (tho' it was scary at the time!). Good luck to your friend
