Question about bleeding at 10 weeks

My friend has had bleeding and spotting throughout her pregnancy - currently about 10 weeks. She's off for a scan tomorrow.

My question is: Is the fact that she has strong pregnancy symptoms a good sign? She is throwing up, feeling nausious, has tender boobs etc. I hope this bodes well. Does anyone know?

broccoli, some people think that strong symptoms are a good sign, but I am not really one of them. Can only speak from my own experience, but I continued to have my symptoms of extreme nausea and tiredness even though I was having a missed mc
But we'll be optimistic and hope that for your friend the symptoms are good!!

BS i had bleeding/spotting for a few weeks around this stage. went for an early scan and the pregnancy was 'viable' as they put it. rest of pregnancy was a breeze and ds is now 20 months. hope it works out as well for her

I had the same experience as Tamdin - and everything was fine (tho' it was scary at the time!). Good luck to your friend
