Hey ladies just checking in. Honestly don’t know where time goes, especially as she spends most of her life asleep.
Hope the pineapple, ball bouncing, and everything else starts working for you all soon, and the Pestering texts stop. Sorry to see that hospitals are changing there guidelines too, especially at this stage of the journey.
@WaveStreet I brought Paige home in a cardigan, sleepsuit, vest, and cotton hat, with a blanket over her. It wasn’t raining, and we got straight into the car and back to a warm house.
@Strawberries4days I’m not breastfeeding, but my milk never came in. But the midwives told me not to put the shower on them, touch, or stimulate them in any way if it did come in, as this will increase the pressure and keep producing milk. Hope they have eased a bit!
@Flora20 fingers crossed for you.
Looking back I’m so glad I have the ELCS after the induction failed. You can’t see the wound really, and it’s healed, my recovery was tough for the first week, but my mobility has got so much better. Paige hasn’t lost any birth weight so doing well, although slightly unsettled for the first time today. Just wish my ankles and general swelling would go down, after having none throughout the pregnancy, i thought I had go away with it.
@CurlyMummy1912 @BS9790 I only spoke through my section that morning 15minutes before. I initially said don’t lower the curtain, but changed my mind at the time and so glad I did. As for skin to skin they placed her onto me, I was shaking, and your tilted, but it helped calm me. They removed my mask so I could see her too. My friend cut the cord. They played music, but I can’t tell you what song was on.
