Any great recommendations? Preferably looking for a black one! Tia x

Here it is.

Tiba + Mark. Not cheap but amazing quality and can use as a rucksack for years after.

Napqueen1234 · 04/10/2020 13:44

Marl *

EggHead268 · 04/10/2020 13:55

I agree with NapQueen1234

Tiba and marl, absolutely love mine! Doesn't look like your typical changing bag either so even after babies I will use it.

babydust2412 · 04/10/2020 22:40

I have a Winnie the Pooh one from Asda that is lovely, they also do a dumbo one and I think a plain back one xx

Oct18mummy · 04/10/2020 22:49

Pacapod they are expensive but totally worth it

AC1991 · 04/10/2020 23:19

I picked up this one today from Asda www.google.com/amp/s/amp.direct.asda.com/george/women/accessories/black-quilted-baby-changing-rucksack/GEM739334,default,pd.html

It’s a great size and can be a back pack but also has a strap to put it over the pram handle if you wanted.

It comes with a travel changing mat too x

m00rfarm · 04/10/2020 23:29

Check out the zellie ones. Not cheap but very popular.

LayingLow · 05/10/2020 02:13

I also got mine from asda.. amazon do some nice ones though.

Kodiak83 · 06/10/2020 17:38

I got a few in to try, including the aldi ice. I wasn’t so keen on it (tried the navy one and thought the colour was a bit crap!) but it’s certainly good value. I wanted to order a tibi and marl but just felt too much. Plumped for the skiphop forma change bag ultimately. Seemed like a good price point and compromise between the two extremes. It is a nice size, I was worried it looked too cumbersome in pics but it’s really not at all.

RWK29 · 06/10/2020 17:52

@ceebee21 another vote for the SkipHop Forma 😊

BellaNutella88 · 10/10/2020 12:59

I have the skip hop Greenwich bag and really like it. Been using it for over a year now and it looks like a backpack so could use it after. The only thing I don’t like is it’s a bit chunky but I carry quite a lot of stuff.

Metallicalover · 10/10/2020 13:14

I like my babymel one. It converts to a shoulder bag (aka easy to put on the pram) and then goes to a back pack x

New2020 · 10/10/2020 14:47

I've got the skip hop forma. I really didn't want to spend so much but in the end it seemed to be the best and I couldn't be bothered shopping around after researching all the other baby stuff

Sheera1 · 10/10/2020 14:52

Glad you posted this. I am bamboozled by how many there are on amazon. I did look at the mamia aldi one but it did look and feel kinda cheap.

edgeware · 10/10/2020 14:55

I got the Tiba and Marl one and have been using it throughout my pregnancy. Just looks really nice. You don’t really need a change bag, just any old bag that fits your stuff. With my first I always used a North Face backpack but this one is far more stylish.

Sheera1 · 13/10/2020 13:14

Op I went for this one in the end. The reviews were all really good and over 1000 of them. The ones on here are lovely but super expensive. This seems a good combination of function and look and not seeming cheap but a reasonable price.

I did look at ones with a bottle heater or USB charging port built in but they seemed to go on fire! You need a separate power bank anyway so figured I would just get one a d stick it in the bag. I wanted one with stroller d rings and attachments and the changing mat is good to have. I googled these for ages! There is one that the back pulls out for a changing area/bed but I decided I would never use it.

They sometimes have Skiphop on TK Maxx's website so worth a look if you want to order one of those, they are aroubd £35 on there.

I wanted a Tiba & Marl but couldn't justify the cost, I ended up getting a Pacapod in the sale at Mamas and Paps for £60 and love it! Mine is navy blue but they do the same one in black

FolkSongSweet · 13/10/2020 13:44

Just get a backpack you like! What is it about a “changing bag” that you think you need? It’s just a way of screwing pregnant women out of more money imo. If you want smaller bags/foldable changing mat to go inside it you can easily buy those for so much cheaper than the cost of a changing bag.

aToadOnTheWhole · 13/10/2020 14:05

I got a black pleather backpack from TK Maxx, £20, did the job and will be used second time round too. You can get a backpack organiser from Amazon if need be.

LJC1234 · 13/10/2020 14:18

I recently got this one after initially treating myself to a normal bag looking one and realising quickly it was not practical

Baby Changing Bag Backpack,... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07WDNPQ11?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

I am so happy with it! So many compartments ! Lovely changing mat . We go to a fair few classes and dog walks, out for lunch and it's been brill Smile

Sheera1 · 13/10/2020 16:22

Ooh @ljc1234 I love the look of that one too. I have just ordered it as well to compare with the other one. Free returns. I love the separate zip section for nappies that could be really useful.

A normal rucksack doesn't cut it tbh. You need the pockets and need to get in to the bottom. These aren't expensive.

Hope you like it! One month in I'm still it's biggest fan!

@LJC1234 Oh my goodness I love the changing rucksack you recommended from Babbleroo. It is gorgeous. It looks so expensive and great quality and so much room and function.

The other one I bought Hamfall was ok, but really quite cheap feeling on the outside and really cheap look and feel on the inside. The square wire opening you would think is easier but it is so awkward to open. Needs two hands and the zips keep sticking. It seems bulkier but actually has much less room.

This bag is amazing. Everything will have a place so will be easy to find without rooting about in the back bit. The front flap that opens right down means you can access everything you need really easily when changing.

Thank you. I am keeping the one you recommend!
