Positive Covid Tests

Was just wondering if there were any mama-to-he's out there who have had a positive Covid test? I've had symptoms for a few days and have been isolating until I can get a test - I just feel really fluey, groggy, out of breath and have a cough but not severe. I also keep getting spikes in temperature and I'm exhausted. It may just be a seasonal illness but obvs want to be sure. I am 29 weeks pregnant. Just wondering what I do if I do test positive? Do I need to tell midwife? Do I need to go to the hospital or anything due to being pregnant?! I'm obviously really worried about the baby too. Just any experiences of having coronavirus whilst pregnant would be appreciated and any advice you were given! Thanks

I hope it's not COVID OP or if it is that everything is ok, and that you feel better soon anyway. Praying for you xx

Have you managed to get a test yet OP?
Hope you're ok!

I took a test on Friday. Symptoms started last Monday evening: sore throat, no sense of smell (not that one have much of one anyway at the best of times), cough, runny/ stuffy nose, aches, low grade fever. Not convinced it is covid, but took until Friday to get the test.

Was meant to have my 12 week scan last week at 13+5 so now I'm pretty pissed off that I've missed the screening boat and haven't even had my 'booking in' bloods done as per covid having them done at 12 week scan...

Still have the cough, and fatigued (but that could just be pregnancy). But I reckon the self isolation will be over by the time I get the bloody results!!

It's all a bit of a shambles, really!

I'm contacting the midwife once I eventually get my results to try to get my antenatal care back on track. Feeling a bit neglected on that front...

My test was negative. So a bad cold has caused me shittier antenatal care. What a fucking world we live in?
