Can anyone help me? I may need to reveal a few gory details to get some answers but I would appreciate anyone’s help as I’ve been left in limbo.
The last few weeks I’ve been extremely constipated and when I’ve passed stools, which hasn’t been easy, I’ve had bright red blood from my vagina when I’ve wiped and had some in the toilet too. This week, I noticed some flesh in the toilet too. This seems to have got worse this week. Today, after school with my partner, I noticed I had lost a fair bit of blood afterwards and this hasn’t happened before. Again, the blood was bright red. I’ve had dark brown discharge that has had a few clots in today.
After calling 111, I went to A&E but there wasn’t Much they could do with EPU being closed. They’ve said they’ll call me Monday and get me scanned. I have a horrid feeling it won’t go well as I’ve had a fairly easy pregnancy (apart from the constipation) and only symptom has been sore boobs the last four weeks. No sickness at all. I was very tired four weeks ago but that coincided with going back to work as a teacher. Has anyone experienced this before? What was the outcome? Even if it was bad I would just like to know. Is the passing of blood whilst passing stools normal? Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you

I can't offer much advice other than I had bleeding with 2 of my pregnancies and everything turned out fine so it's not always cause for concern. They didn't find a reason for either bleeding.

I hope you find out some answers on Monday and try and rest up and take care.

I have had very slight bleeding at 9 weeks and when I say slight I mean a tiny amount from My vagina after going to the toilet following being constipated. Frightened me to death and had a private scan that evening where all was fine with baby. I have read a few people have had bleeding following constipation. To avoid I now have upped my fibre intake considerably- dried prunes are now my new best friend. Definitely get checked out as soon as possible but also try not panic too much- bleeding in pregnancy can be very common xx
