A cold and swollen glands

Hi ladies,

I’ve developed a stinking cold and have swollen glands in my neck. I do get colds regularly due to my job and after a few days they tend to pass. I had a MC early this year and I’m now anxious that swollen glands means fighting infection and what if that causes another MC.

Any advice (preferably saying it’s fine and to just calm the hell down Wink) would be so helpful.

Swollen glands does mean fighting infection however you also have a cold - there is your cause.
This means localised to head and neck and not likely to get far enough down to cause any problems with baby. Presuming you are otherwise fit and well with no other underlying health conditions.
Take it easy, rest and fluid.
