Faint positive

Hello! I have a really faint line positive, am I pregnant?

If you have a faint positive that's come up in the time then you're pregnant!
Do you have a pic of the test? Xx

If it's a trustworthy brand and it came up in the time then congratulations! I'd recommend a FRER using FMU if it wasnt one as it will show stronger lines

I'm fifty missed two periods just done a clear blue test thought was negative went back to recheck half HR later now it's faint positive ☹️🤦advice or just see gp ?

@lisahalford you'd be best starting a new thread really.

If there was no line within the 1st few minutes it is a negative result, any line which appears after this should be discarded. Try another test in 2-3 days.

It's invalid if its after the time limit as its probably an evap line.

Evap line why Is it blue ? Think gp is best way for me especially at my age 🤦

@lisahalford my Evap lines were blue, if the test has gone past reading time it’s a negative

Blood tests on the 4th now missed two periods,🤦

@lisahalford at your age you may be getting to menopause phase of life. Highly unlikely to be pregnant if tests are not showing clear positives after 2 missed periods.

Of course as I'm fifty I'm quite aware of that .Although my sister is same age as me and has a baby girl 😂So age means nothing .Feeling I'll all the time perhaps does mean something ive had five children and never had positive home test 🤔blood tests will find out whats going on more so as my brother has cancer atm I have to rule everything out .

We are trying for baby number 2, an my son is now 5 I dodnt even realise for 20 weeks I was pregnant, I was told I'd never have kids an need so was a bit of a shock, I'm worried it's an evap line?? I dont want to get my Hope's up its scary as I'm 36 so I'm not sure if it will ever happen again? Please help

If it was within the time frame, it's less likely it will be an evap line. Best thing you can do is retest in the morning with first morning urine

It says on the pregnancy box, a faint line
Is a positive result. Not if it’s after 30 mins though.

I've done 3 more test all faint line all different brands, I think I'm pregnant and so dose my doctor waiting g for bloods to be done as it's not clear enough so fingers crossed xx

@lisahalford it’s exceptionally rare to get pregnant at fifty naturally. If your sister did it without the use of donor eggs/IVF then she would probably would have made headlines
