Period due today and been having period type cramps this past week. This is negative isn’t it, or just an evap line? Thanks. Excuse hairy legs!! Grin

I can see a line on both tests 🤞🏽

PammieDooveOrangeJoof · 02/10/2020 17:47

I can see a line in both pictures...

RedKitKat · 02/10/2020 18:34

What are the chances of them being evap lines, or maybe just faulty tests as they’re both from the same pack? x

theresaplaceforus · 02/10/2020 18:37

I think I can see a very faint line x

ArianaVenti · 02/10/2020 18:39

I think they're both faint positives. Bet if you do one first thing tomorrow it'll have a stronger line

Didiusfalco · 02/10/2020 18:39

I feel like I can see something, and I can almost never see anything. It could be an evap line, but definitely try a different test.

BeeePeee · 02/10/2020 18:41

I see a line and look like my early tests with my pregnancies.

hopsalong · 02/10/2020 18:44

Definitely a line. I can see it on both of them! I agree that it's not a 14 DPO line, more a testing 5 days early line, but you probably just ovulated late. Give it another couple of days and try again?

RedKitKat · 02/10/2020 18:54

Going by dates on my app this is when I ovulated and hearts are where we DTD? not often as DP was working away.. so I wouldn’t have expected a positive.

I see a line again on the latest one. I would cautiously say they're positive.

Queenbee95 · 03/10/2020 07:47

I hate it when people say “you’re due your period, the line would be a lot darker”. My tests with DS1&2 were super squinters on the day of my period. This time around was exactly the same, could barely see the line at all..

I can see something faint on both your pictures OP

RedKitKat · 03/10/2020 10:21

@Queenbee95 with my 3 year old I think I tested about 4 days late and it was FMU and there was no mistaking the very bold lines so with that being the only personal experience I have I suppose I believed it when other people said they would be more obvious! Maybe there is a chance though if yours were similar and you were pregnant! I’m in 2 minds whether to give it over the weekend and see if AF starts and if not do another test on Monday, or to just go and get one and do it this morning/tomorrow. It’s choosing between listening to my impatience, or not wanting to waste a money on a test haha x

I can see a line on both

Prettybluepigeons · 03/10/2020 10:23

Its negative.

MsJaneAusten · 03/10/2020 10:26

Buy one today but then be patient and wait for FMU tomorrow.

Better still, buy the cheapy stikcs from home bargains instead of the expensive tests and you can text tonight, tomorrow and Monday Flowers

RedKitKat · 03/10/2020 11:26

@MrsJane thank you. I’ll have a look in savers today I forgot they do really cheap ones! Thank you x

The Poundland ones are supposed to be as good as a frer too!

This was 12 or 13dpo I think.

RedKitKat · 03/10/2020 12:56

@Sansa87 ahh see I’m 2 days late now and my line wasn’t as strong as that by any means so I think it’s probably just a late period.

OP posts:
pinkpanther84 · 03/10/2020 13:02

I can see a faint line on both I think 🤞

Sansa87 · 03/10/2020 13:04

@RedKitKat I ovulated late, so it’s only because I know when I ovulated it made it that many dpo, If I went by a normal cycle, I was a few days late.

Of course it might be different for you, I can’t remember if you said you knew when you ovulated

Bluebirdsky · 03/10/2020 13:20

I can definitely see a faint line in that second picture. I would test again if still no period. When my friend had her little boy she was almost two weeks late before she got a decent positive result; we are all different!

positivedreams · 03/10/2020 13:43

The second picture looks like mine did when I got my first positive, some people don't get a strong positive for a while after their period is due. I used the Asda tests which look like the one in the second picture. Before my faint positive they had absolutely no hint of a line, so that could well be positive! Fingers crossed for you!

RedKitKat · 03/10/2020 15:14

Thanks everyone. I sent DP to savers today and he came back with a pack of the £1 ones and a pack of £5.99 clear blue as he said he didn’t think the £1 ones would be “up to much” bless him!
I’ve got the period type cramps again today and my boobs are sore but no bleeding as yet. I’ve been a bit stressed as DP’s dad had surgery to remove a tumour on Thursday so maybe it’s just stress that’s delayed it.

I found the cheap test were best. Did you do another test?
