Bleeding - early pregnancy

Hi, I'm really not sure what's going on and I hate the waiting game.
I received a very light positive with 1st response 1 day after af due (19 Sep) although a digital said negative. I received very light the following 2 days. The next day (4 days after af due - 22 Sep) it was darker and you didn't have to squint to see it. That day I had light spotting in the afternoon.
On 23rd it was darker again but I started bleeding very red with clots. I bled for 4 days and then spotting the next day.
On 26th I had blood test with hcg levels at 180 and on 28th another test with hcg levels at 479. That would put me just before 5 weeks.
Dr told me to wait a week for another blood test and the scans.
The wait is killing me. I'm not sure what to think. I get very fatigued in the afternoon but then can't sleep well at night. My mind is all over the place. Does anyone have similar stories. I've had a mc before so very worried.
I hope you are able to follow my dates above.

Have you done another test recently? Maybe see if you get a stronger line now?

I’m 7 weeks and have spotted on and off, but it’s mostly brown.

I have seen lots of women say that they have bled in early pregnancy Though and It’s gone on to be fine xx

Hey, thanks for your reply. Yes I did another test this morning and it was darker still. I've done so many tests and they keep getting darker. I stopped once i got the blood tests but couldn't help myself today. The test line comes in seconds well before the control line.
The bleeding was mostly heavy when I wiped with not that much on a pad - definitely couldn't fill in a day. But really worried about the clots (sorry if TMI)

@Simmy20 the bleeding doesn’t sound too heavy although I haven’t had any experience with red blood, but I’m sure they say you would be filling a pad every few hours with a miscarriage.

How far along are you now in your pregnancy, and when is your scan booked for?

Try not to worry - I know how hard it is not to though! What will be will be, and you’re doing everything you can xxx

@Cafeaulait27 thank you. It was really scary seeing that much blood when I wiped and the clots. But like you say I'm slightly reassured that it wasn't filling a pad at all. I am 5+3 now. I have another blood test on Tuesday to check HCG levels and if still rising then will get booked in for a scan. I'm over analysing every small thing since the mc. I'm no longer bleeding so hopefully thats a good sign. I have no major pregnancy symptoms yet but it is early. I do have nausea come and go
